I did it – I ordered a DIY kit for building my own … ukulele! I have thought about it for quite some time, because it is another one of those crazy projects which keep piling up recently, and it comes from far Canada, Quebec, which means a lot of postage on top of the bucks to be paid for the thing itself.

But… it’s soooo cute! And… I want it!

The man who makes the kit announced May 20th as the approximate delivery date, so please support me in crossing fingers that the package is not held up by customs or other evil forces who want to keep me away from the fun of making it.

By the way: I cannot really play ukulele – yet.
