Yippiey – today I did it, despite a long, long day at work after getting up at 5:00 a.m. in the morning. I wrote 2372 words today, which is 142,29% of the required daily average. In total, my word count is now at 102% (5118 words) – strike 🙂

I don’t think I will be able to do this for 30 days straight, but to be on track at day 3 feels very good.

I was briefly considering whether to share the last sentence of today’s chapter here, but then I decided that maybe it is too early for that. I will keep it nice and private until the story is finished. And then we’ll see whether the sentence will make it through the first revision.

But what I want to share is a little drawing which I found when cleaning up the cloud-storage of my mailing provider. I put it there in 2006 (April 4th, precisely) and nearly forgot that I still had it until I came across it again yesterday.

I still like it, but it also makes me a little sad as it stirs long lost memories. But see for yourself:
