How do you like Frankfurt´s youngest high rise? I have split feelings, because the building has robbed me of a lost place. But let’s start at the beginning.

We welcomed winter yesterday, finally. Which means, we needed to go where the winter is instead of the winter coming to us, but anyway.
Glamour as glamour goes… I like Frankfurt’s  Alte Oper (old opera house) which is a not-only-opera concert hall today.
Not sure whether I wrote about Michelstadt already… So, anyway, Christmas would be a good opportunity to do so, as this post might inspire you for some Christmas present.
Not that you think you need to go far to reach a world’s favorite place. Not at all. You can also go to Berlin and visit the dome of the Reichstag building, the parliament’s home.
I took this picture many years ago in a cool café in Berlin, Hackesche Höfe. I have no clue whether the café and/or the starry sky still exist, but the picture has stayed in my mind for all those years.
What colors…! A little afternoon hike to the summit of Frankfurt’s very own… well, I can’t call it mountain, really, so let’s call it hill. Or, rather, it’s a ground wave. But it is 185 m high, mind you.
