The big advantage of a roadtrip is that you can go wherever you want, whenever you want.
In particular you can leave a place, just so. And so we did – without seeing his majesty Mt. Blanc at all.
You don’t need to go far to come to the next beautiful place, maybe an even better one, where yesterday’s rain and thunderstorm are forgotten. Le parc national “Des Ecrins” was our next day’s target, and to say the least, the trip was worth it.
But to sooth ourselves, we had a happy glass of red, out in the mist after the rain, in the setting sun, and very happy again. And, b.t.w., did you know that chocolate always helps?
