At the beginning of the year, I set some goals – as always around that time. This time, however, I was determined to achieve them. As goal setting goes, there are some major “bucket list” things on my goal sheet, but also some “I want to do X every other week”, but also those which probably make the biggest difference: Things I want to do every day. It’s about changing habits and taking care of myself, being a healthy individual despite all the busy days at work.
And as there is a risk of losing sight of those goals, I started to “measure”, to keep track every day whether I achieved what I try to achieve. There is no need to achieve everything every single day, but I want to have the right balance between days I slack and slumber and those I push myself over the lazy-sofa-hurdle.
Hence, I wanted to measure how I did. And here we go – this is my 2-months record for March and April, tracking the five themes every day. Uh, there are very bad days, but some very good as well. I can clearly make out the long nights at work, but also the feasting with friends, just-in-a-bad-mood-days and days spent in flow.
It’s not perfect, but it’s a good start, huh?
