I took this picture many years ago in a cool café in Berlin, Hackesche Höfe. I have no clue whether the café and/or the starry sky still exist, but the picture has stayed in my mind for all those years. In fact, it is one of my favorite black and white pictures. Maybe this is one reason to go to Berlin again and check out whether it is still there. Because – as time goes – I took the photograph with my analogous camera and developed the film and print myself (oh, those days in the dark room are gone). Now, in search of decoration for my living room, I’d love to hang this picture, but it is too “small” to be enlarged to an appropriate size. So, maybe I should really go back to this place?
