I wrote 1793 words. Now I’m empty, hence just two little pictures of phaeno, Wolfsburg’s interesting science and experimental museum. Not only is it interesting content-wise, the shell is cool as well. Everything resembles a parallelogram, imagine a room with originally rectangular walls, squeezed from above until the angles give way and the walls transform from rectangle to parallelogram. You will have them everywhere, even in the windows, giving the whole building an atmosphere of some room in outer space. Sort of.
It was built by the famous female architect Zada Hadid, an Iraq-born London-based cosmopolite and multi-talented artist.
