Today, my training turned into serious business. It was long run day again (as every Sunday) – I did a 25,5 km jog along the river. This was the longest distance I have run, ever. For a first time, it was not so bad (even though hard, of course). And yes, after a zillion steps, I got it done – check!

And then, it was time for rehydration, optimally combined with some reloading of carbohydrates. Hence I got myself two little bottles of isotonic drinks in a corner shop – really looking forward to the sound of opening the lid and taking the first sip. The isotonic stuff was Radler, which is a mixture of beer and lemon(ade), for my sports without alcohol of course. But from far, they look like real beer.

But first, I needed to stretch my legs after the stressful run. So I put down the bottles close to a fence which I used for support while working on my thights and calves. The bottles standing at my feet (really close by, you bet), I worked out.

This moment, a passerby came, came closer, bent down and… grabbed my bottles…! HEY!!! When I called him, he came back, put the bottles down again, and said: “Sorry, I thought they were ownerless.”

Next time, I will squeeze the bottles into my pockets, no matter what.
