We had a long relationship. First, it took some time before I could love you. You were kind of ok, but this was it. I had you for reasons of boredom prevention, just for some change once in a while.
When I read “Eat, pray, love”, I was envious – Elisabeth ate all her way through Italy: pasta, pizza, ice cream, cheese, tiramisu, you name it.
How could I commit to running a big race this year? Didn’t I foresee what was coming? The endless kilometers under my feet, the hours, the intervals?
