The year says good bye, asking itself why it is that people make such a fuss about New Year’s eve.
It’s like finishing a notebook and looking forward to a new and fresh one, for the moment you start writing on the first page of a new notebook. All those blank pages lay ahead of you, and you promise to only apply your finest hand writing to it, so that all your beautiful thoughts come out as pretty as possible.
Don’t forget that the best pages in your notebook are those with coffee stains, with that unidentifiable smudge cross the lower corner and those a little blurry from rain or tears dropping onto the ink.
It’s like the best days are those you wake up with a headache from. Or muscle ache. Or heart ache. You name it.
Life has no plan. Life is dirty.
Enjoy it.

Here are some last impressions of 2016 from Frankfurt and Offenbach, collected on a bright and crisp day when the city was between the sheets, nor fish nor flesh. Before tonight hell will brake loose.
