FOUR: What if I’m in Africa and don’t see any of the “Big Five”?
My itinerary did not allow a visit in any of the parks in the north, especially I had to drop Krueger due to shortage of time. I had to stick to the south, so I tried my best there. One day I was driving through Addo Elephant Park for a considerable amount of time already, and was starting a slight frustration, when with a woodcrashing noise a huge elephant bull stomped onto the road right in front of my car, which including myself and luggage did not wought out a sixth of this mountain of flesh. thanks engineering for inventing the brake!
After luring at me quite unwelcomingly, the bull decided to move onwith a trumpet blow and crashed back into the bush. Wow, I didn’t know that adrenalin takes ages to metabolize.
